FDP Owner: I think this was the first year I really thanked God that I lived to see the day. We lost so many in 2020. My heart is still heavy after the loss of my brother. I look forward to healing and grieving with the resources I've been provided. Also, I am thankful to be surrounded by family, friends, and supporters of FDP. Thank you to each and everyone you! My hope for you is that this year is better than the last.

To those that celebrate, we wish you happy holidays from FDP. Just like the other holidays, Christmas will look a little different this year. If you're looking to boost your holiday cheer, maybe bake cookies for a neighbor, do an early morning workout, or virtually/safely contact family and friends. Also, it's okay to say no to events where you're not emotionally available.

Yesterday’s decision was unconscionable. A no murder charge for the ex*****on of Breonna Taylor, similar to the lack of charges in the death of our Soror Sandra Bland in a Texas jail cell, underscores the extreme indifference and lack of value placed on the lives of Black women. As an organization that represents women worldwide, we are frustrated and angered at this lack of accountability. Our hearts go out to Breonna Taylor’s family. We will continue to fight for social justice, and we urge everyone to use the power of their vote to change an unjust system.

FDP Owner: 3 years ago I started 2 series: WTW (in the picture) and the Stone Sister Series. I released WTW immediately, but waited on the latter series. I waited so long I thought I should rewrite the stories. My writing style and editing had changed since 2017. Then, I realized I needed to release the books as is or else it would be another 2-3 years before they came out 💀 Thank you to those that have supported my work over the years 💜 Writing is a process, and I'm always looking to improve and help others improve, too!
