Mother of the Bride👗🫧
I asked here for advice on what to wear for a black tie optional and it was suggested that I wear a floor length dress. The wedding is in a little over a week in Westchester County, New York. The ceremony will be at the church at 1:00 PM and the reception at 5:00 PM. As the mother of the bride, I want to make sure I don't draw attention from the mother of the bride, so a beaded dress might be too flashy. Another concern is that I'm always cold. These are the current options, but if they're not appropriate, I'll keep trying!

January 3rd Wedding in Plovdiv, Bulgaria - Which Dress?✨

Ease of packing should be considered. The gold dress is the best wild card, we should focus on the first two, unless the gold is better (it costs twice as much, almost $700, so not sure if it's worth it for a few hours, and is it too much to wear?)

Keep in mind that I don't have time to buy another dress, so these are options. Yes, they fit the dress code, that's not the question. The wedding is at a Roman theater and the reception is under a tent in a field with mountains in the background. Long hair, medium brown, yellow/green/brown eyes. I will also have dark skin. Honestly, I'm not so worried about the location of the venue, but more about what looks best on me! Thanks!🥰

My brother is getting married this fall I have a dress picked out finally for myself but it's narrowed down to two for my mom and we are about even on family and friends voting on which dress.
Dress 1 longer skirt with straps
Dress 2 scallop neckline and sleeves and knee length skirt.

I can’t decide and I’m afraid of dress regret. These are my top 3.
Tried on dresses for the first time today. These are my top three. All of them made by my mom (she is selling her creations on the Tedooo app super cheap just because she still don’t believe in herself to list it in high price, even that customers there are telling her it’s too low!) so wanted to show her that I’m getting married with her dresses but I’m so nervous! I’m super on the fence about #3. I felt like myself in #1 and #2.

Daytime December wedding!!!👗💦🫧
dress code is smart casual/semi formal with a "light blue be creative" theme.. its a courthouse ceremony and a brewery reception will be doing a curly updo and pairing with dainty silver and blue jewellery and silver purse... I'm on the lookout for silver heels but I have black heels as a backup because I haven't found any suitable silver ones yet!
