Ramp from SB Indianapolis Blvd to EB I94 to CLOSE on Monday June 22

The ramp from southbound Ind. 152/Indianapolis Blvd. to eastbound I-80/94 is scheduled to close beginning at midnight on Monday, June 22.

The closure will remain in effect through midnight Thursday, July 2.

A signed detour will direct drivers east to U.S. 20/Michigan Ave. and then to Ind. 912/Cline Ave., providing access to eastbound I-80/94.

During the closure, crews will be completing drainage improvements.

In addition, shoulder closures are now in place through July at select ramps along the corridor as crews prepare for FlexRoad construction. Locations include ramps at Richard Gordon Hatcher Blvd./Grant Street; Ridge Road; and Ind. 53/Broadway. ALL RAMPS REMAIN OPEN with minimal traffic impacts expected.

Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Check for schedule updates at 511in.org or the INDOT TrafficWise mobile app.

80/94 FlexRoad is an INDOT project in partnership with the Illinois Department of Transportation to improve traffic flow and safety along Indiana’s busiest interstate corridor. The project area: The I-80/94 corridor (Borman Expressway) from I-65 in Indiana to Ill. 394 in Illinois.
