After 18 months of dreaming, planning, recording, learning, re-recording, and praying, the Deep in the Heart podcast with Vicki is finally here.

For the past several months, I've been working on something that's been on my heart for a long time.

I'm so excited to finally share it with you.

This isn't a fitness podcast.
It isn't just a faith podcast either.
It's a place where faith, encouragement, and real life come together.

We'll talk about starting over, finding hope, growing through hard seasons, building healthy habits, trusting God, and learning to keep showing up, one small step at a time.

Recorded Episode 5 today!

And can I tell you something?

Every time I finish an episode, I think of ten things I could do better. Was I fidgeting? Could I have delivered it better? How was my editing? It's so different than radio... and where is my music bed?

Part of me wants to go back and rerecord Episode 1 and 2

But I'm not going to.

Because I want to remember what it felt like to begin. To be new. To be learning. To be doing something I've never done before.

I want to see myself a little nervous, a little stiff, a little green. I want to watch the growth happen in real time.

Something beautiful happens when you stop chasing perfection and simply say yes to the calling.

With every episode, I'm becoming more comfortable. The words flow more naturally. The conversation feels more natural. Sometimes I feel the Holy Spirit simply take over and carry it where it needs to go.

This podcast has already become such a gift to me, and it hasn't even launched yet.

We're still a little while away from release, but we're getting closer every day. My goal is to begin sharing episodes sometime in August. These conversations are deep, honest, sometimes hard, and full of hope. I truly can't wait for you to hear them. Also, I will be looking for guests starting very soon as well.

Something special is happening in this room…
yesterday, and then again today. I sat right here and recorded the very first episodes of my podcast. I can’t even explain the feelings I have. This space has held so many quiet prayers, so many ideas, so many moments of “one day…” And now… its happening. The conversations that will happen in these chairs, the stories that will be shared, the healing, the laughter, the honesty... it’s all coming. I can’t wait to invite you into this room with me. The pod is on the way, and it’s just the beginning.
