Our friend Brad Austin formerly of KLUR radio Wichita Falls could use our help.
Brad has officially been nominated to be inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. Trust me when I say this is very big news for not only Brad but also 99.9 KLUR and the entire Texoma area.
With his radio career spanning 40 years, all of them in Wichita Falls, Brad has left his mark in Texoma not only on the air but also with his involvement with numerous local charities,
Brad has been nominated along with other 51 Texas broadcast greats. Only a few will be inducted!
The work begins now. I’ve had several people ask what they can do to help our friend get inducted into the TRHOF in Kilgore November 8th. If you are so inclined to help Brad, you can join the Texas Radio Hall of Fame to become a voting member today by clicking the link below. During the membership drive there is a modest discounted fee of $25 to join and these fees are used to help with the HOF scholarship program. Once you join, you will receive a confirmation number several hours later which will include your voting membership number. This number Will be needed to submit your ballot.
We need your help to make this happen. Brad Austin truly belongs in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame and you can help him get there. It has been 11 years since Wichita Falls had an inductee (Joe Tom White).
