2025 wasn’t a highlight reel — it was real life.

Some days I reeled in memories I’ll carry forever.
Other days I went home empty—tired, frustrated, and thinking hard.

Early mornings. Late nights.
Quiet water. Loud lessons.

Fishing taught me patience.
Life taught me that effort doesn’t guarantee results—but quitting guarantees nothing.

This year also took something from me—
my best friend, my constant, my dog Bowe.
The silence hit harder than any slow bite ever could.

Not every cast paid off.
Not every plan worked.
But every setback taught me something I needed.

Bent rods. Missed fish. Heavy heart.
Still showed up. Still believed.

Walking into 2026 lighter, wiser, and hungry—
