Planning a trip to Stowe, Vermont? 🍁

We recently spent a few days exploring one of the most beautiful corners of New England, and the Best Western Plus Waterbury-Stowe ended up being the perfect home base for all of our adventures.

From sampling fresh cider donuts at Cold Hollow Cider Mill and touring the Ben & Jerry’s Factory, to driving through Smugglers’ Notch, chasing waterfalls at Moss Glen Falls, and wandering the charming streets of downtown Stowe, we packed so much into just a few days.

One of my favorite things about staying here was the location. So many of Vermont’s most iconic attractions were just a short drive away, making it easy to spend less time in the car and more time exploring.

POV: We found the best theme park in America, and it’s right here in the Midwest

In case you didn’t already know, we’re kind of obsessed with Silver Dollar City. And once you visit, it’s easy to see why

Reasons why needs to be on your family’s summer bucket list:
🎩 Over the top theming that makes you feel like you stepped back in time
🎢 Thrills for all ages – from giant high speed coasters to rides for even the smallest adventurers
🥨 So many delicious snacks and treats throughout the park (highly recommend getting the tasting passport – it’s our favorite way to eat at Silver Dollar City!)

Dreaming of Switzerland this summer, but on a budget? Might I recommend Glacier National Park instead? 🏔️

This insanely beautiful Montana National Park blew us out of the water with its wildlife, jaw-dropping scenery and crystal clear lakes.
