Had a blast emceeing the 2025 Wichita AMA Awards this year. Always cool to be in a room full of creative folks doing big things in marketing around our city!

Shoutout to DJ Carbon, Ice Cream Sandwich Champion and official redeemer of the Great Egg Fumble of 2025. 🥇🍦

We got 4th in the egg toss because someone (not naming names) couldn’t hang on to a single egg… but apparently, six ice cream sandwiches in three minutes? No problem.

Proud of you, butterfingers. 😎🐾

A day that started like any other, but it ended different. I woke up just as “DJ Carbon”, but I went to bed as “DJ Carbon, Wichita Riverfest Ice Cream Sandwich Champion”. And for my efforts, I get to deliver a check for $1,000 to the Wichita Animal Action League. Not too shabby for a Wednesday. 6 sandwiches in 3 minutes means a whole lot of happy animals.

Sharing the stage with David Cadence Holifield and celebrating 54 incredible STAR Students was unforgettable. Huge thanks to The Pando Initiative and everyone behind the scenes for making these students feel like true stars.
