Dave Scott, legendary choreographer, creative director, and the visionary behind You Got Served and Step Up 2: The Streets, has passed away at the age of 52.

He played a pivotal role in bringing hip-hop choreography to the mainstream, working with artists like B2K, Marques Houston, Tyrese, Bow Wow, and Ginuwine — helping shape the visual language of early 2000s R&B and hip-hop. From music videos and films to live tours and television, his impact stretched from the streets to the screen, inspiring a generation of dancers to dream bigger.
