☕ He still lives with his mom....

Alright, I need to know if I’m overthinking this or if it’s actually kind of a red flag. I met someone great — funny, kind, independent, solid job — but the still lives with his mom. Not because he's lazy, but because it’s ‘financially smart right now.’

I get it — rent’s crazy — and adulting is expensive...but part of me feels like, at a certain age, you should want your own space. I’m not sure I want to bump into your mom on the way to the bathroom.

So here’s my question: In 2025, would you date someone who still lives at home w their parents, even if everything else about them is great?

☕ Office "thief" vs Office "b***y trap"

What’s up Carla n Cadence,
I just started my new role as Operations Manager, and I’ve landed my first workplace drama.

One of our customer service reps ended up with a burnt tongue and stomach ache after eating someone else’s food in the fridge. They claim they thought it was theirs. Unfortunately, the owner of the food had purposely filled it with extra-hot homemade chili, because he says someone’s been stealing his food for weeks.

Now I’ve got one employee demanding compensation for “unsafe work environment,” and another insisting they shouldn’t be punished for someone else stealing their lunch.

I have to figure by the end of day Friday who’s in the wrong here… The injured employee who tried to steal?
Or the employee who set the b***y trap?
