Day Five 🐾

If your family has been missing a little extra joy (and a whole lot of zoomies), meet Rocko. This six and a half year old, fifty eight pound lovebug is happy go lucky, full of energy and always smiling. This dude does not walk into a room, he bursts in with tail wags like he is announcing himself. 🐶

Rocko is housetrained, walks well on a leash and lived with young kids before, which he absolutely adored. He is playful, social and convinced that running in circles outside is his calling in life. He has not lived with other dogs, but he has done well meeting them, and The Kansas Humane Society offers dog to dog introductions to make sure it is a good match.

Day Three 🐾

If you thought one noodle was good, meet Double Noodle. This five year old, sixty two pound queen of sniffing is here to prove that more noodle is always the right amount. 🍜🐶

She came in as a stray and unfortunately had her ears cropped before arriving at Kansas Humane Society, but she has not let that dim her spirit. She shows strong signs of potty training, loves exploring and treats every walk like a full detective mission. She will sit with you for a moment, then head right back to sniff patrol. It is her passion.

Double Noodle is sweet, curious and ready for a home that lets her be her silly, snuggly self.

☕️ He doesn’t wanna meet my family???

My boyfriend and I are fighting over Christmas plans. We’ve been dating six months and I want him to come to our holiday get-together, but he says he’s “not ready” and that six months is too soon. Meanwhile my family is starting to wonder why he’s never around.
So… how long should you wait before introducing a partner to your family? Is he copping out? Is this a red flag, or am I overthinking it? What message do you think he’s sending?
