The ultraprocessed food industry is yet again under attack, and it’s not just MAHA moms or scientists who study food calling for change.

Some 77% of frustrated Republicans, Democrats and Independents are now calling for mandated “large warning labels” on all packages of ultraprocessed foods, or UPFs, according to a new poll.

Up to 70% of Americans want companies banned from advertising ultraprocessed foods on children’s television, while up to 87% want government safety testing for all laboratory-made chemicals long before they can be used in any food product, according to the survey published Wednesday in the American Journal of Public Health.

SO CUUUUUTE 😍 The Rolling Hills Zoo shared this video of anteater Ruth and her 2-week-old pup exploring the dayroom together for the first time on Thursday.

The zoo says baby anteaters spend much of their first year riding on their mother's back. Their fur pattern closely matches mom's, providing natural camouflage as they travel together through the wild.

Guests visiting Rolling Hills Zoo may be able to catch glimpses of Ruth and her pup in the coming weeks as the young anteater continues to grow and thrive under the attentive care of its mother, RHZ says.

Murder charges have been filed against three men involved in a mass shooting at Arcadia Lake in Oklahoma that left one person dead and almost two dozen others injured.

The Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office announced that 18-year-old Jaylan Davis and 21-year-old Daviion Wyckoff were charged with first-degree murder for their involvement in the shooting.

NEW: An Augusta man who pleaded guilty in connection with the death of his 3-month-old son has been sentenced to three years of post-release supervision.

Butler County District Court Judge David Ricke sentenced Kaleb Hogan to 39 months with credit for time served and with departure granted, leaving 36 months of post-release supervision.

Hogan, a former El Dorado Correctional Facility officer, pleaded guilty last month to involuntary manslaughter for the death of Malykai Hogan on March 23, 2021.

A 37-year-old Wichita man has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for s*x crimes involving a child under the age of 16.

A jury convicted Jared Michael Mendez in November 2025 of attempted r**e, criminal threat and three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. On Friday, Judge Tyler Roush sentenced him to 25 years to life plus seven months.

A 50-year-old Florida woman died last month after she was mauled by two dogs belonging to her neighbor, according to the local sheriff's office.

The neighbor, identified as 29-year-old Linda Cutler, was arrested and charged with manslaughter. Her dogs are scheduled to be euthanized.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said that Cutler “feigned having a heart attack” during the arrest and was taken to a hospital before being booked into jail.
