I keep searching for love, but can’t ever find it, when I think I do I just get blinded, every time is, it me or them, piece of me with them, when they go, or when I leave, either way I don’t feel whole, so much of me missing, I see the strings attached, paying for others mistakes human beings detached, afraid of connection, I long for it, been staying strong for it, believing it still exists but when I reminisce I see how quick we forget, but still I keep searching.

Is there a heart that will understand mine, they say give it time, I’ve given plenty, the devil tempts me on a daily but I stay strong waiting for the 1, but is there really 1 that could understand the things I’ve done and the things I’ve been through, 1 that will continue, to love me like I deserve, 1 that sees my worth even when I don’t and remind me the devils lying, I’m God’s son, he’s the God Father, I’m his God Son nothing more gangster, I’m still here to spread the message, in his lesson lies the blessings, gotta grow to understand it, they say beauty’s within but it so hard to see past the shallow gaze, but when you look with your eyes you only find ones that play games, I’m searching with my heart looking for my name sake.
