Our Shelter Pet of the Week is the beautiful Skye!
At just 2 years old, Skye has already experienced far more motherhood than any cat should. Like so many cats, she was born into the heartbreaking cycle of unfixed pets reproducing faster than there are homes for them. Skye has had three litters in her short life, and sadly, two of those litters did not survive. But when Skye came to us with her third litter, things finally changed. Her kittens thrived, grew up healthy and happy, and one by one, they found loving homes. Skye was an incredible mom—and now, it's her turn.
She is a gorgeous tuxedo girl with striking green eyes and a quiet, sweet personality. She has lived around both cats and dogs and has shown us just how loving and gentle she can be. Skye spent her young life taking care of everyone else. Now she deserves a family who will take care of her.
Her kittens have found their happily ever after. We can't wait to see Skye find hers. Could you be the amazing family she's been waiting for?
Stop in this week to meet this special cat! We are open Wednesday through Friday, 3-7 pm, and Saturday, 10 am-2 pm. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get your application in, the better! And don't forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week! That is in addition to our Clear the Shelters August Special, so her fee is only $10!
