Our Pet of the Week is Velvet!

Velvet is a beautiful black cat who currently spends her days relaxing in one of our cat colonies. She's just a year and a half old, but she has already been with us for 230 days—far too long for such a sweet girl!

Velvet has a gentle, meek personality and will quietly ask for your attention. Once she has it, she truly enjoys the company of visitors. She also gets along well with other cats, making her a wonderful fit for most homes. If you're looking for a loving, easygoing companion, Velvet could be the purrfect addition to your family!

Stop in this week to meet this special cat! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don't forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week! In combination with our November Adoption Special, Velvet's adoption fee is waived!
