Our Pet of the Week is Kermie!

Fun-loving and loyal—that's our Kermie! This handsome 3-year-old mix weighs approximately 50 pounds and is ready to be your new best friend. Kermie enjoys going for walks, soaking up attention, and spending time with his people. He's also done well in playgroups with other dogs, showing off his friendly personality. Kermie is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, and he can't wait to find his forever family. Could that be you?

Stop in this week to meet this special dog! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don't forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $50 off dogs during their week!

Today is Ticket Giveaway Thursday for Kansas State Fair tickets and K State Tickets on US 107.9. Listen in for Mica in the Mornings on US 107.9 show for Sam Barber tickets. And this afternoon to Cowboy Bob for K State tickets.
Sam Barber with Avery Anna will be at the Kansas State Fair this Friday, Sept. 5th and we have a pair of tickets we are giving away here on facebook to the first caller at 316-945-1079.

Oxford Masonic Lodge No 165 Oxford Kansas will be celebrating the Watermelon Feed this Saturday, Sept. 6th with a craft fair starting at 10am and at 5pm a BBQ dinner for $10, your choice of ribs, brisket or smoked chops and sides, which will be served inside the lodge on main street and they are sponsoring the fireworks at dusk.
And I think some of us with US 107.9 KWLS Real-American-Country will be eating there! Sounds delicious!
