I was born from pressure, time, and silence — shaped by the heartbeat of the earth itself.
For ages I lay beneath the tundra near Anvil Creek, surrounded by stone and stories. The old-timers passed over me chasing dreams of gold and glory. They never found me, and that was alright. I wasn’t meant for hands that only sought fortune.

I waited for someone different.
Someone who would listen to the land instead of conquering it.
Someone who understood that the real treasure isn’t in what you hold, but in how it changes you.

When his detector passed above me, I felt the quiet excitement of recognition. He dug carefully, patiently — not rushing, not greedy — and the first light I saw in a thousand lifetimes was the sunrise reflected in his eyes.

Now I hang close to his heart, not hidden in a drawer or melted into a bar, but carried with meaning. I’ve become more than gold; I’ve become a reminder — that purpose waits in stillness, and connection can bridge earth and soul.

After all those years in the dark, I finally understand why I was made.
Not just to be found, but to find him too.
