It is with a bit of a heavy heart to report that one of the the best R&B singers of the 1990's & 2000's has left passed away at the age of 51, due to pancreatic cancer in New York City. He was best known for his debut album Brown Sugar and the follow up Voodoo, with hit songs Lady, Brown Sugar, Untitled (How Does It Feel. He also did a great cover of Earth, Wind & Fire's Can't Hide Love from his live performance in London at The Jazz Cafe. R.I.P. D'Angelo

This one is going to hit very deep, another legend is gone; this time in the world of Soul/R&B music. Heaven has just a little more musical as Walter (Scotty) Scott of the iconic band the Whispers has passed away at the age of 81. R.I.P. Scotty.

Balo & William Betts for helping me navigate this musical path called radio and thank you to everyone at the station.

This has been what can I say, but one of the most terrible 2 weeks for music. We lost another artist today as one of the founders of the R&B group Tony! Toni! Tone! has passed away at the age of 64, after a battle with Cancer. R.I.P. D'Wayne Wiggins.
