One person was killed and another was critically injured after a helicopter collision

A 26-year-old woman was killed after her car slid on an icy road in Williamstown in Gloucester County and overturned on Saturday morning, police said.

The car was found by a passerby just after 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, and was found overturned in a small body of water, police said.

After an investigation, police said they believe a woman from Franklin Township was driving a 2025 Kia Sportage eastbound on W. Malaga Road, near Bracken Drive, when her car slipped on the icy roadway and rotated, eventually sliding off the road and into a small body of water next to the roadway.

The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
