Tropical Update: Hurricane Erin went from a Category 2 storm at 11 PM Friday, to a Category 3 storm by 5 AM Saturday. It now has winds of 120 mph. Addition strengthening is occurring and the storm will reach Category 4 strength by Saturday afternoon. www.fox56.com/weather/radar

I mentioned the chance for a few showers and thunderstorms tonight. Here it is. One pocket of rain over southwest Schuylkill Co. No lightning, but there is some heavy rain. This storm has produced about 1.5" in a little over 90 minutes. WXman Brian Schroeder
