🦋 “I used to think humility meant hiding.” — Jay Jay Douglas

Whew. This one spoke to me.

Sometimes we think being humble means making ourselves smaller, dimming our light, or downplaying the gifts God has placed inside of us. But a butterfly doesn’t compete with another butterfly—it simply becomes what it was created to be. 🦋✨

There is room for all of us to shine. There is no competition when we understand that what God placed in you was never meant to be compared to what He placed in me.

We can walk in humility and confidently embrace our gifts. We can honor God without hiding what He has given us.

Maybe the question isn’t, “Am I shining too brightly?”
Maybe it’s, “Am I allowing myself to fully become who God created me to be?”

Hello, butterflies! 🦋 I am so honored to be joining Lady B Ministries for the 6th Annual Women of Worth Retreat, September 25th–26th at The Glo Center in Norfolk, VA.

You already know we’re coming with transparency. The real thing. No polished version, no performance. Just honest women in an honest room letting God do what only He can do.

Glam PJam Friday night, Morning Manna and lunch Saturday, a photoshoot on the beach, and The Seek to close us out. Worship, rest, sisterhood, and space to breathe.

Thank you, Lady B Ministries, for the invitation. It is going to be a powerful time in the Lord, and I cannot wait to be in that room with you.
