Something I always ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see: Tiny, atmospheric, historically/culturally accurate, hamlet-theme-appropriate Christmas Town additions. Check out this super cool, new Lucia of Syracuse roaming character/meet and greet/photo op in San Marco! 😍 LOVE!

The big announcements from Busch Gardens Williamsburg today were obviously Verbolten: Forbidden Turn and three, new, upcoming shows (one for Christmas Town and two for next summer). That said, Kevin Limbke also provided a bevy of super interesting tidbits during a Q&A following the announcements. Here are some highlights we picked up on:

- The park is playing with ideas for a member lounge but has no immediate plans to implement one.

- The park's plan to fix the kiosk annoyances is to make more items redeemable in-app in the future.

- New flat rides are desired by park-level leadership.

- There are "exciting" 2027 plans.

- It will be a "little bit of time" before we see a new coaster.

- The park is developing a new system for speeding up the parking booth situation—work has already been done, but no imminent implemention plans yet.

- Nothing new for Water Country USA to announce at this time.

- Park-level leadership is pushing for something new in Da Vinci's Garden, but nothing solid at the moment.

- Pantheon theming could be a future opportunity.

- The park will celebrate the upcoming Das Festhaus and Killarney anniversaries.

- Ideas have been kicked around for the vacant Pet Shenanigans theater. No imminent plans, but new animal shows are on the ideas list.

- There are a couple current rides on the "target list" that could be replaced/reimagined in the years ahead.

- Concepts have been drawn up for the Mäch Tower site, but nothing is slated to take the plot immediately.

Just want to make sure people's expectations are properly calibrated for tomorrow's Busch Gardens Williamsburg Project 2026 announcement. Rumors this summer (shared via the ParkFans Network forum) have consistently indicated that the "Italian Le Mans" plans were shelved—likely due to an issue on the manufacturing end if whispers are to be believed. Instead, per rumors, another project we wrote about back in the spring has reportedly been fast-tracked: a Verbolten thematic upgrade. We expect that to be announced tomorrow.

Remember our early-May leak shining a light on the existence of internal Busch Gardens Williamsburg concepts for significant thematic upgrades to Pantheon and Verbolten? Well a new survey distributed by BGW late last week confirmed that reporting!

That's not all though—the survey also puts forward three other, possible future attraction investments that could be on the park's radar for the years ahead! Check out our latest article with all five of the concepts and some of our thoughts at the link below!

Which of these options would you like to see the park pursue first? Any you particularly love or hate? How do these compare with the five concepts from the survey covered in our previous article? Share your thoughts!

On June 13th we received another survey from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, this time asking primarily for our thoughts about possible ride rethemes. While the last round of market research (discuss...

Here it is! The first testing video from Busch Gardens Williamsburg's new-for-2025 roller coaster, Big Bad Wolf's Revenge! It's hard to see much right now, but here are the clips I've managed so far in the order they appear in the attached video:

1️⃣ Terminated Lift 1 Climb
2️⃣ Full Lift 1 Climb
3️⃣ Full Lift 2 Climb
4️⃣ Second Half Through the Trees
5️⃣ Arriving at the Final Brakes

Whelp, that might signal the end of the fun today. We watched Wolf's Revenge crest lift two and complete its course around 4pm-ish, but Busch Gardens Williamsburg just transferred the only Wolf's Revenge train currently on track into the ride's maintenance bay. We'll stay around for a bit to make sure it doesn't come back out, but given the time, don't hold your breath for anything additional this evening.

Wolf's Revenge is running its first testing laps this afternoon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg! One of the coaster's trains is currently parked at the bottom of lift 2, but hopefully we see motion at some point this afternoon!
