Checked out KingaCon in Newport News this afternoon - had maybe 10 vendors and Eien Strife was setting up to play tonight - saw some neat cosplays - was a fun way to end the day :)

Shobou Con was a lot of fun. It's a small local con in Chesapeake Va and this is my second year of attending. It's a free con and I think that's what attracts a lot of attendees. This year there was a Cosplay Closet where you could snag gently used cosplays for little money. I saw quite a few people loaded down with their cosplay loot - they seemed quite happy!! There was the usual Cosplay Contest and there were several panels and video rooms and I saw a number of attendees relaxing and playing their handheld systems with each other. I'd say all in all, it was a good day for all. Def will be going back next year.

Just got home from a local con - The Ring of Fire Con ( ROFCON ) and omg was it awesome!! It's a multi-genre con and I have to say, it really kicked butt!! There were seriously too many guests to name - J. G. Hertzler, The Wicked Hips, David Lee, Leona Wisoker are just a few off the top of my head!!! If you didn't come this year, this is a must save the date so put it on your calendar for next year!!! I did upload a couple pics so enjoy :)

So Katsucon was FUN!!!!! as always - met lots of people - some traveled from Florida!! Loved all the cosplay - can't wait for next year!! Uploaded a couple pics under Photos - Enjoy :)
