Tonight the Lycoming College community gathered for the 49th annual candle light service. The service was lead in song by the Lycoming College choir. The night was full of songs, Bible readings and community as the College community gathered together one last time before the end of the semester.

Saturday the Lycoming Warrior football team finished their regular season with an away win at Juniata 24-16. The Warriors extended their win streak to 4 games ending a dominate second half of the regular season. Junior running back Spencer Ferguson helped the Warriors with 2 rushing touchdowns in the 3rd and 4th quarter to help Lycoming defeat Juniata. Lycoming finished the regular 5-5 with a 5-1 conference record. The Warriors will play at home on Saturday Nov. 22 against Washington & Lee in the Cape Charles Bowl.

Tonight members of the Lycoming College Jazz ensemble serenaded fellow students at Jack's Corner. Jazz at Jack's as it is called by students is a fun way opportunity for students to gather together and here fellow students and community members perform while they enjoy their food. This is the second time this semester that the ensemble performed at Jack's Corner this semester. Keep an eye out for future Lycoming music concerts including a concert band and jazz concert this Friday Nov. 21 and a choir and community orchestra Saturday Nov. 22 both at 7:30 in the Trachte Music Center.

The Lycoming College community inaugurated a new tradition tonight with the first Season of Light. President Edmonds spoke to the crowd talking about the importance of light from philosophy and religion to the sciences. He then led the crowd in a countdown that lit up the upper quad with green and red lights . Students then had the opportunity to participate in numerous activities.
