This Saturday November 29th in the Waverly Activity Center Gym, we will once again be hosting their annual Christmas Auction!

Doors will open at 5pm and the Auction will begin at 6pm.

All items will be brand new, and concessions will be served.

Roads in both WV and Ohio are very slick. Bridges are freezing over. Use extreme caution if you need to go out. There are multiple wrecks across the MOV.

On November 10th, 2025 at 04:00pm, Washington County Sheriff Mark A Warden has issued a level one snow emergency. Level one means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are icy. Drive cautiously.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Interstate 77 North is temporarily closed late Monday afternoon near the Edens Fork Road exit in Kanawha County due to icy road conditions, the Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department reports.

West Virginia 511 is also showing the roadway closed in that area.

According to the Sissonville VFD, “multiple motor vehicle accidents” are reported in that area.
