Spending six hours at a rest area in Connecticut was completely worth it. Started with Reddick's 45 at 5am. Needless to say, not completely knowing that hauler travel day was going to be started so early made it even more exciting.

In the week between Charlotte and WWT, VFT1 had set out on a road trip for personal reasons. Knowing that we may never experience anything like being on the road for a week straight again, one of the things we did along the way was a tour of on the day we left the NASCAR capital of the country. We weren't supposed to go to SRX Racing last night, but then we got asked to go at the proverbial eleventh hour by work. So we said yes... And then, got handed access to the garage upon arrival by credentials handler Emily. Totally unexpected! But pretty cool nonetheless.
