đź’šWILLITS farmers market Thursday 7/9
Now it's time for some real food -- local, fresh, nutritious, produced by your neighbors. We're in Bud Snider Park all along State Street every Thursday, 3 to 5:30 PM, featuring local produce, local meat and eggs, prepared foods, from snacks to dinner dishes to balsamic vinegar, and music too. We honor SNAP cards and WIC cards and have extra benefits for qualifying shoppers. We also exchange a swipe of your credit or debit card for Market Bucks, good with any vendor for the cash-strapped.
Who to expect this week:
Richard & Mary will be bringing freshly cut microgreens and whole plant foods to the market.
Joanne brings mint, rosemary, broccoli, onions, flowers, garlic, free veggie starts, raspberries, cactus and fruit leather from her Laytonville garden.
Elyse and Patrick will be there with garlic, shallots, summer squash, green onions, lettuce mix, lettuce heads, basil, bell peppers, spicy peppers and hopefully tomatoes and cucumbers.
Mary with FloraQuest will be there this week! Sunflowers, mixed bouquets, and dried flower crowns.
Edenberry Farm is back this week! Mike and Annika will be at market with their early peaches and plums, as well as the last of the early season berries. Plus, they will have lemon cucumbers, chard, no added sugar and traditional preserves, and a few jars of raw honey taken from the raspberry patch hives.
Debbie writes, "Lettuce Make You Happy will be there with our living lettuce heads and lettuce mix. We will also have mushrooms, tomatoes, variety of dried spices and garlic braids."
Allegra will be there, too, with Green Uprisings signature salad mix, lots of fresh basil, garlic, kale, chard, and more.
Thea should be on hand, as well, with Mulligan Gardens chicken, Blue Oyster mushrooms, fresh and dried herbs, produce, and Mich's line of seasoning mixes.
Mel brings Eastside Ranch's valley-bred beef, pork and lamb each week.
We should be seeing Mike and Roxanne, too, with their Roxy Bees Honey, including honey sticks and Hot Honey for drizzling on those summer barbecues
Bryan and family from Covelo and Hatchet Mountain Farm should be there too with a table full of produce.
Jessie always has organically finished beef, pork and lamb plus tables loaded with fresh produce, including the first tomatoes and peppers of the season.

Reza will be offering Sourdough Kalamata Herbes de Provence, Einkorn, Seedalicious, Jalapeno Cheddar, Focaccia and Pizza Dough.
Expect Yi and Felix with hot tamales and cold salsa in a variety of flavors both traditional and innovative.

And Denise brings her aged balsamic line of vinegar, flavored olive oils, stuffed olives, and pickled garlic.
Deborah of Moonflower Tea promises she will "be there to serve up your favorite Market drinks; Iced Puerh Chai Lattes, Iced Puerh Chocolate Raspberry Lattes, Iced Puerh Peaches & Cream Lattes and Blue Butterfly Mate Lattes. See you then…"
