SAVE (Su***de Awareness Voices of Education), is a Minnesota-based su***de prevention organization dedicated to su***de prevention, education, advocacy, and support for su***de-loss survivors.

This week's Big Country Critter:

Are you ready to meet the cutest ginger boy in town? Meet our 1.5 year old Lab mix Marshall! This absolute sweetheart of a boy has quite the sensitive soul! Now we may not know his past, but we know he will need a gentle leader with lots of patience for him to truly become the fabulous dog we know he is! Marshall’s favorite pastime is playing the best game ever, fetch, or sometimes in his case, keep away! He would like you to know that he is a professional catcher as well. Marshall has been around many dogs and does great if they aren’t too much right off the bat, he gets a bit nervous so currently his best friend is a special needs boy. With his love of toys sometimes he can struggle with the sharing aspect among other dogs. Marshall is a wonderful listener though so as soon as you tell him, “No”, he’s understood the assignment. If this boy doesn’t have his toys to be around then all he wants is your love, he will scooch right into your lap and hold his paw around you in a hug.
