⭐️ SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK⭐️

Spotlight of the week goes to student D. Marshall! Marshall is a dedicated participant in our music production and mix and mastering after-school course at Navigational Studios. He truly enjoys being part of this program. After sharing the news of his recognition with his mother, she had a few remarks about his journey: “His passion for everything he does amazes me more and more every day. All I hear when he wakes up in the morning before school is music, and as soon as he comes home from school, it’s music again. He’s always excited about his piano lessons, and when he teams up with his mentor to create a beat, he doesn’t stop until it’s perfectly fine-tuned. Then it’s, ‘Ma, you wanna hear my new beat!’ He’s quite a force of creativity, kindness, and imagination. While he may be shy at first, his heart speaks volumes through his love of music, the stories he brings to life in his favorite games, and the joy he finds in simple comforts—like a warm plate of chicken Alfredo, his absolute favorite. He sees the world in his own unique way, and I have no doubt his creativity and gentle spirit will continue to leave a lasting impact on those around him.” We are extremely excited about Marshall’s future in his engineering journey!

Meet our student of the week, Jazayah Alston. Jazayah is a returning student at Navigational Studios who loves hanging out with friends, streaming, and playing video games. While at Navigational Studios, Jazayah participates in the E-Sports program.

Due to inclement weather, the after-school program will be closed today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025. We will be closely monitoring the storm to determine if we will also need to close on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
