The first episode of is live. Eeekk. And I couldn’t be more grateful to all the women who have had these conversations with me.

What I didn’t know at the very start of these interviews….

I didn’t know what this would become.
I didn’t know I was still in the thick of my messy middle.
I didn’t know these conversations would make me ask myself some really difficult questions.
I didn’t know that these women’s words would quite literally change my life and give me the courage to move forward.

These are real, raw conversations of women who have been there my friends. I hope they inspire you as much as they’ve inspired me.

Cheering you on ✨

I did a thing.
A scary thing.
An uncomfortable thing.

But something that’s been on my mind and in my heart for a long time.
And today, I took imperfect action toward a much bigger dream.

It’s not easy to do that… (the knot in my chest is proof of that!) but it’s important.

If you have a few minutes to spare, I’d love for you to visit what I’ve been working on …a space where the question ā€œwhat now?ā€ is answered by women who’ve been there. Through the messy middle and on to the other side.

These are Reset Stories…honest, imperfect conversations about burnout, change, healing, and rebuilding a life that actually fits. They’re not polished or produced with fancy tools (yet). I’m learning as I go…new mics, better sound, clearer flow, but I knew I couldn’t wait for perfect to begin. (As hard as that is for me!)

Because starting is the hardest part.

Their stories helped me heal during a time when I was constantly asking myself ā€œwhat’s next?ā€
I hope they help you too, if you need them. šŸ¤

This first story is a great place to start:

Welp! I’m sure you’ve noticed that I’ve been showing up a bit more and a little differently lately. No, it’s not because I need validation (shoutout to the troll from one of my previous posts!). It’s because, as I look back on my journey—from the excitement of going after my passion for photography to figuring out how to build a successful business while raising my little ones—I realize that what really lights me up is helping others grow.

When I started this adventure, I was juggling diaper changes and trying to learn manual mode on my camera, all while figuring out how to market my business and find a way to quit my corporate job to follow my passion for photography.

This past year has brought so many changes, and they all came pretty suddenly. Our family saw a vision of a new way of life by moving to the beach, and we knew we had to jump on that opportunity. It felt like the right step for us, and I’m excited about what this new chapter holds!

I’m eager to embrace this multi-passionate approach and share content that reflects both my love for photography, the awesome gigs I get to work and my commitment to empowering others. All while raising teens 🫣 So…

Here’s what you can expect:
1. Insights on Collaboration – I’ll share stories about how working with others has influenced my creative journey and tips for how you can apply collaboration in your own work. For all creatives and small businesses!

2. Personal Growth – I’ll talk about my experiences, offering insights that I hope will inspire you.

3. Creative Tips – Look for practical advice and inspiration to help you navigate your creative journey, whether in photography or other areas.

4. Community Engagement – I want to hear from you! Your thoughts and feedback are important and collaborating is my favorites! Let’s connect!

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m looking forward to sharing more of my story and supporting your growth along the way. šŸ’«

PSA: Vulnerability Post - I hope you'll stick around for the end and give me some love so I don't overthink that I shared too much lol.

What a year it's been! We have officially been North Carolinians for over a year. And in that year I've taken a lot of time to reflect on myself personally and professionally. And I keep coming back to an overwhelming sense of gratitude.....

I’m filled with so much gratitude for all the people who have supported me along the way in my personal life and business and everywhere that overlaps. Starting my photography business wasn’t easy. It took a lot of hard work, late nights, and a LOT of learning, all while raising little ones. I vividly remember working between nap times, and even sitting at McDonald’s with my laptop, letting my kids play in the play place just so I could get a few minutes of uninterrupted work in. (And believe me, thinking about those germs in the play place now is a little scary! šŸ˜…) But at the time, it was the only way I could fit work into my day.

I also have to give a special thank you to my husband, Dan Anthony Mulhern. He has always encouraged me to follow my passion and never once made me feel like my crazy schedule was a burden. He took on so many added responsibilities at home so I could focus on building this business, and even though he’d never say that wasn’t his job, I know I wouldn’t have been able to do it all on my own.

To my friends and family—you have absolutely no idea how much your support has meant to me! From booking sessions with me early on to spreading the word about my work, you guys helped me build this business from the ground up. Whether it was offering encouragement, understanding my crazy schedule, or just being there when I needed a break—thank you. You are part of this journey in more ways than you know, and moving forward, I would love your continued support as I take this next step.

Lately, I’ve realized that while I love photography, I also love helping others grow just as much. I’ve always been passionate about collaboration, and I’m starting to lean into that more and more.

Moving forward, you’re going to see me sharing a lot more about my journey—both in business and personally. I’ll be diving deeper into what’s worked for me and how I’ve grown, in the hopes of helping others do the same. You’ll see more of my experiences with collaborations—how working with others helped me build my business faster than I could have every imagined, and tips on how you can do the same.

I’ll also be sharing insights on growth, how I’ve managed the highs and lows, and how we can all support one another as we build something meaningful.

If you're wondering how you can support me now, simply engaging with my posts, sharing with others, and offering feedback would mean the world to me!

If I’m honest, I still struggle with "imposter syndrome". Posting about myself and my accomplishments isn’t always easy for me—I often feel like, ā€œWho am I to be giving advice?ā€ But the truth is, I know at my core that I love helping others, and I also know that my years of experience have given me the knowledge and tools to help.

I’m pushing myself to share more because I believe that if I can help someone else grow by sharing my story, stepping outside my comfort zone is more than worth it.

So, thank you SO MUCH again for being part of this journey. I’m excited for what’s to come, and I hope you’ll continue to follow along as I share more about what’s helped me and how I plan to help others in the future.
