Like many memes, this one has grammar problems. But the story is great! It should read:
Ray Bradbury was 33 and newly married, and he could not yet afford a typewriter. At UCLA’s Powell Library, in a basement study room, he rented one for ten cents per half hour.
Nine days later, for less than $10, he finished a book about—burning books.
He called it Fahrenheit 451.
