Posted • Today, the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce () officially opened its new headquarters & business incubator in Wilmington during Black Business Month!

This 10,000 sq. ft. space, launched in partnership with the WGU School of Business, will provide free business development programs, resources, and collaboration opportunities for minority-owned businesses across Delaware.

Hood News Team Delaware In 1985 Mitchell Coleman (then known as MC-007) decided to market a demo to Dave Wooley Productions. Dave stated, “ . . . complete high school, and I will be your agent.” Years later, Mitchell and Dave hooked up, and this began the inception to a young man’s desire for the big screen. After many street dilemmas, ghetto traps, etc. the then young protege decided to really focus on journalism. After a four-year stint at University of Phoenix’s Online Bachelor of Journalism program, Coleman maximized his gift for leading OCG’s (Online Collaborative Groups) to create thee Yo Hood News Team Delaware behemoth east coast accented with his ‘Keep Yo Hood Up’ moniker... (no pun intended).

Touching Lives In The Community

In order to touch more of the community we've had our own mobile app developed, Yo Hood News Network will utilize all and any links to assist young men from prison with re-entry into a stiff-necked society that caged the young men in the first place. Moreover, Coleman works vehemently with the city of Wilmington, Delaware to reduce recidivism using education, technology and plain old street smarts to reduce recidivism.
