What a day! Yesterday was Shushan Farm’s first-ever market, and it was right at home here at Wilmington Fall Fest (Wilmington Fourth of July Committee)! It was by far the hardest thing I’ve done with this business, but also the most rewarding.

I baked 120 loaves of bread (a personal record for me), thinking it would be enough… and we sold out by 12:15! Everything else was gone by 1:30 pm- 2.5 hours before the market even ended. I know some of you stopped by later hoping to grab something, and I’m so sorry i ran out, i truly didn’t expect this kind of turnout.

Even after the table was empty, I had the best time just hanging out, chatting, and meeting so many new faces and also seeing my loyal farm stand friends in person made it even sweeter.

Wilmington, you showed me and Shushan Farm so much love. My heart (and oven) are full. 🥖✨

🍎🍯✨ Shanah Tovah from our family to yours! ✨🍯🍎

Rosh Hashana is the start of the Jewish New Year. A time to reflect on the past and look forward to new beginnings. For me, it’s a reminder of the values I want to carry into the year ahead: love, kindness, patience, and the sweetness of family.

As my daughter and I step into this new season together, I’m wishing you all a year filled with health, joy, and moments that feel as sweet as honey.

We’re back! 🎉 After our summer break, the farm stand reopens THIS weekend 🌻

✨ Pre-orders are LIVE! Grab your bread, flight box, and (drum roll please 🥁) COOKIES - now available in a bundle with bread! Link below to order.
We also added 2 new flavors to the bread menu- Pepperoni Pizza Sourdough Bread and cheddar Sourdough Bread.

🍂 Mark your calendars: on 9/27 we’ll be at Wilmington’s Fall Fest! Come find us at our booth for all the yummy treats. (Note: the farm stand on Boutwell will be closed that weekend.)
