I don’t care if it’s a week later or 10 years later, I will always take one of my puppies back. I’ve seen a lot of posts about this and I agree, a lot of breeders are ashamed to say that they’ve had a puppy returned, but circumstances change. Responsible owners realize when they cannot give a dog the life it deserves. I will drop everything to get one of my productions back even if it’s a 2 AM text. Responsible breeders keep dogs out of shelters and I never want anybody who gets a puppy from me to feel like they can’t come to me if they are struggling or need help. Whether that’s training help or they need to release the dog back to me, I am always there for any question whether how dumb or silly you feel.

PUPDATE from Bane, he was from a Katana x Zeus litter, which was a 100% American line Doberman. He lives in Philadelphia now and enjoys protection work and going on long hikes.

Went and grabbed a pup cup while working on our patience of being in the crate while in the car.
Being able to be calm in the car is a very underrated skill. I also believe that dogs should be in a crate while in the car for safety. This is something we are still working on with Poppy as she does get excited and think we may be going to bite work training. A lot of people lead you to believe all their dogs are perfect but training is really a never ending thing and there’s always something to work on.
