Reel Special is Kentucky's premier wedding video provider. We are Ryan & Brittany Worthen, the owners of Reel Special Productions.

Ryan is a Yankee from northwest Ohio who fell hard for Brittany, a Southern Belle from the great state of Tennessee. We met, married, and made our home a midst the beautiful rolling hills of central Kentucky. Whether filming a bride’s dream wedding, a commercial for a local business, a sports recruiting video or a documentary in a foreign land, Reel Special Productions is passionate about telling

stories through film. Our extensive experience in creative video productions has paved the way to a more unique style than you will find with your run-of-the-mill event “videographers”, and our goal is to provide each of our clients with a finished product that will touch their hearts in a way that still images simply cannot.

Wiley and Ellie brought all the west Texas vibes to Kentucky for their wedding and y'all...it was incredible! These two beautiful souls were married at Good Shepherd Church in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, and then held the most spectacular reception at Idle Hour Country Club. What an honor it was for Reel Special to capture their wedding video!

Rebecca and Chris, your wedding day was astonishingly beautiful and deeply sentimental. Capturing love story was complete ✨magic✨ and there are so many special moments throughout the day that made it perfect! Some of our favorites include...
..the letters you read during your first look.....the way Jax reacted when he saw you in your dress.....the incredible letter that your mom left for you before she passed so that you would have something special from her on your wedding day.....the ring security team (amazing!).....the cake smashing.....the list could go on and on...
..THIS is why we are passionate about filming weddings. What a treasure to witness your two lives and families coming together in such a beautiful way! We are SO grateful you chose us to capture it for you. William + Lauren are high school sweethearts who fell in love at Sayre School in Lexington, so it made perfect sense that their first look was on the hallowed grounds of their alma mater on their wedding day. Although Kentucky natives, Taylor and Lindsley now live in Washington D.C., but were sold on having their destination wedding in the heart of Lexington.
