Today the Contenea Fire Department opened the Christmas season, and we followed along to capture the people, the excitement, and the community that makes Wilson feel like home.

These volunteers don’t get paid… but they give everything.
And tonight, Wilson called them heroes.

What was it like to step inside the Tabernacle — the sacred place where God met with His people in the wilderness?

Students from Wilson Christian Academy got a chance to find out. Hosted by Tabernacle Baptist Church in Wilson, NC, Pastor Joe Shakour guided 9th graders through a life-size replica of the Hebrew Tabernacle, explaining the powerful symbolism of God’s presence and redemption woven throughout its design.
