🚨UIL BOMBSHELL: LBJ FORCED TO FORFEIT UNDEFEATED SEASON🚨
KWVH Sports | Wimberley Proud

The UIL has ruled Austin LBJ must forfeit all 11 of its 2024 football wins, including the district championship, after using ineligible players.

That means the record books are getting a rewrite—and while Taylor is now named district champ, everyone in 4A knows who the real contenders were.

Byron Eckols State Farm and KWVH 94.3 FM salute our Good Neighbor Recipients for July, 2025.

Pictured with our State Farm Agency Good Neighbor Program Sponsor, Byron Eckols, is Good Neighbor Volunteer of the Month, Doug McLean. Doug has lived in Wimberley since 2011 and is the most recent President of the Wimberley Lions Club. Doug helped launch a new Leo Club for Wimberley High School Students and created WimberleyVolunteerNow.com to help local organizations with volunteer needs. Bravo, Doug McLean!

Congratulations to our Nonprofit of the Month, Love Like Logan. Their mission is to provide scholarships and sports equipment for local youth in memory of WISD student athlete, Logan William Overall. The nonprofit has also established Texas Style Giving, their goal being to support other nonprofits, within Texas boundaries, to further their missions and causes. Currently, 100% of money donated goes directly to our neighbors in Kerr County following the July 4th floods. Pictured with Byron Eckols is Dr. Tony Maxwell and daughter, Catherine.

Hats off to our KWVH Volunteer of the Month, Ryan Moloney. Pictured with Byron, one can find Ryan hosting “Dirt Chix,” the only motocross radio show in America hosted by a female motocross rider. Kudos to Ryan!

Thank you all for your outstanding service to our beautiful Wimberley Valley!!! To nominate a local volunteer or nonprofit, email INFO at KWVH dot ORG!

Pure Class🫡
Whether you’re an Aggie or a Longhorn—this will make you proud.

At SEC Media Days, Texas DB Michael Taaffe wore a tie with the initials of every child lost in the Camp Mystic flood tragedy.

This wasn’t for attention—this was heart.
He represented more than football. He represented the spirit of the Hill Country. 🙏
