n Travis loves having families join him on fishing trips so grab your kids for a great time on the water with SOA Charters. Captain Travis helms a 28’ cabin cruiser powered by dual 150HP Yamaha engines. His vessel is outfitted with power poles, Tuna Tubes, outriggers, and a live well for fresh bait. Modern electronics such as a GPS, fish finder, and a radar. All USCG approved safety gear is on board including life jackets and a CPR trained crew. For your comfort and convenience there is a toilet on board. Captain Travis welcomes children and anglers of many different skill levels. On your trip with SOA Charters all of the necessary equipment for a successful day on the water is included. Top of the line rods, reels, lures, and tackle. Your fish can be cleaned and filleted for you however, Tuna cleaning and Crab cleaning can be done for you at an additional charge. You and your guests will need a valid Oregon fishing license and tags before your trip with SOA Charters. You and your guests will also need proper clothing, any drinks and snacks you want to enjoy while fishing, and a cooler to transport your catch home. Captain Travis will take you to the offshore waters for Albacore Tuna. On the nearshore reefs of the Pacific Ocean you’ll be targeting Ling Cod, Rockfish, and Dungeness Crab. You will also have the opportunity to go after Halibut a little further out. Coho Salmon can be caught on the coastal rivers and on the ocean depending on the time of year. Up to 6 anglers are welcomed to join in on the fun depending on the trip you choose. The First Mate will clean and fillet your fish for you after your trip with SOA Charters. The ocean might not be cooperating, but the river is looking absolutely beautiful right now. Daily limit is 15 per person, and with school out, this is the perfect fishery for kids and adults alike. Great action, stunning scenery, and memories in the making!
