The Gray Blueberry Festival was a lot of fun. Good crowd and the music was excellent. The Zoot Jumpers, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, and Jenny Jumpstart and the Cap Guns were all great. In the sixties, when I grew up, the summer entertainment consisted of the Fireman's Muster. No bands, no dunk tanks, no craft fairs. Just volunteer firemen showing off the new gear. It was cool.

I am having breakfast at the Library House this morning and what an honor it is! Thanks to all who came out last night for our discussion at the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library aka the Presque Isle Public Library. We had a lot of fun with a lively discussion. It's always provocative to have other writers in the group. Thank you, Elise for helping me last night and finding the coffee maker! Also, a shout out to Rodney's at 436 Main. Great food and drinks and I had the massive good fortune to meet the CEO of Ignite PI, LeRae Kinney. Ignite PI is an organization focused on revitalizing Presque Isle through entrepreneurship. A very successful night!
