I want to be very clear on a question regarding IVDD testing positive in embark for Dachshunds I just had, most and I mean 90% of dachshunds are going to have positive IVDD type 1 or 2 on the embark test. This is a dwarf breed meaning they will test positive in nearly all tests for these genetics, this does not mean your dog is going to get IVDD now or eventually. Buying from lines that are strong and free from IVDD is your best bet. Please research. And to add, an IVDD free genetic test doesnā€™t mean your dog will not get IVDD either (this is a dwarf breed) šŸ¾
