Relaxation - Metta Meditation for a loved one

Tonight, we said farewell to one of our circle who had been with us from the very beginning of our Mindful Mondays. We used a Metta Meditation to help them on their journey as they pass from this life.
First, we expressed the love, kindness and compassion we have for ourselves; as you cannot pour from an empty cup. Ensuring you are at your best ensures you can give your best to others. We then took that compassion and expressed it to our friend to help them on their journey, wishing them peace and ease in their transition. Following our farewell, we sent our compassion out into the world for everyone to experience. To bring peace, love, happiness to all. The cultivation of compassion can be the cure for many ailments, and promotes wellbeing and longevity.
Join us 4 Mondays each month for a 20-40 minute guided mindfulness practice. Each week is different so you can find the one that really works for you. An mp3 recording of each session is available shortly after.
Using methods to focus the body on relaxation, the mind on awareness, and the spirit on belief, this class can help reduce stress, anxiety & aid relaxation.
No experience is necessary, only a desire to cultivate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, reduce stress and prolong life.
