Wildfire Alert – Grass Valley Area

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Winnemucca Rural Fire District and BLM Fire with a wildfire in the Grass Valley area. At this time no structures have been reported burned. Power outages are affecting the area – there is no estimated time of restoration. Please do not call the HCSO Dispatch for power outage questions. We are asking the public to stay clear of the Grass Valley area near Mercury Avenue to allow fire crews and emergency personnel to work safely and efficiently. We will provide updates as information becomes available. Please follow this page and local emergency services for the latest details.
