Former Mayor Aaron Dees addressed the Winona Board of Aldermen Tuesday regarding a request to deannex his property and neighboring properties from the city limits. Dees presented each board member with a copy of a petition for deannexation of the area.

Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 4, Carroll County held its 17th annual Pilgrimage and Pioneer Day Festival. This year's theme was "The Year of Churches" and included a Pilgrimage tour of three local historic churches.
