Brother Tracy from North Winona led chapel for our 4th–6th graders this week, reminding students that Jesus is both our Savior and our Rescuer. What a gift it is to pause in the middle of a busy school week and hear the truth of God’s Word spoken over our kids. We’re thankful for his heart and the powerful message he shared.

Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices!
O night divine! O night when Christ was born!
O night divine! O night, O night divine!

On that holy night, heaven touched earth and everything changed. The darkness didn’t get the final word—Christ did. As McKenzie lifts her voice, we’re reminded that worship is our response to the God who stepped into our world to bring hope, peace, and redemption.

May we pause in the middle of this busy season, fall to our knees in awe, and remember the miracle of Emmanuel—God with us.

K-3 loves their Miss Allie. Allie Tompkins is a participant in WCS's Child Development class to earn volunteer hours. She volunteers in Mrs. Heather and Mrs. Caylon's K-3 classroom. Allie loves on these babies, plays with them and sings with them. One thing for sure is there is never a dull moment. Today is Allie's last day of this semester and the kiddos wanted to celebrate her!!

Chapel • Bro. Chris McCrae

Today’s chapel reminded us of the beauty and meaning behind our Christmas traditions. We talked about reading Luke 2 each year, setting up nativity scenes, and reflecting on the moment Jesus came into the world.

Bro. Chris shared an important truth many forget: the wise men were not actually present at the birth of Jesus.
In Matthew 2:9, Scripture tells us the wise men followed the star to Jesus. When they finally arrived, they entered a house, not a stable, and saw a child, not a newborn baby. They traveled a long distance, and their arrival came later—but their visit still holds incredible meaning.

So why do we include them in our nativity scenes?
Because their three gifts declare who Jesus is:
• Gold — representing Jesus as King of Kings
• Frankincense — used in temple worship, symbolizing Jesus as our High Priest
• Myrrh — an ointment for burial, pointing to the sacrificial death He would die on the cross

When Jesus came to Earth, He lived the life we should have lived and died the death we should have died—so we could be reunited with our Father in Heaven.

The best Christmas gift of all is knowing that one day we will sit at the feet of Jesus and call Him our King.

What a powerful reminder during this season!
