The activities that save me when it’s 4PM everyone’s going crazy & the last thing I want to do is come up with something to do🤪

1. ICE! The cold is incredibly regulatory. We paint ice with water colors, freeze Pom Poms to extract, just stir dump and explore, etc!

2. Dried lentils/beans! Our favorites are black beans, chickpeas, split green peas and rice. We’ve used the same ones for over a year now! They are easy to store and use again.

3. Water! Use a pretend kitchen sink, the actual kitchen sink, or a bowl of water. Toss in some glo pals, scoops, droppers, cars or other toys. Give them a car wash or simply explore the movement of water✨

4. Kinetic sand! The texture is fun, great to build with, drive monster trucks on, etc. it’s easy to clean up and one of our favorite sensory bases!

5. Zigglers! It’s $5 at Target, stores back in the same container and really fun to squeeze, press and bury toys with.

Can you tell I like a dump and go sensory base?

PS. If you’re sensory seeker has a hard time slowing down to enjoy sensory play spend 5 minutes giving intense heavy work input followed by 2 minutes of deep pressure before offering sensory play✨🫶🏻
