Tim has his Mecca, and I have mine. Loved visiting my favorite Neighborhood when we were in Pittsburgh. 🖤💛 I took an unexpected 2nd week off from The Rose Garden of Doom on Camel City Radio for reasons but I am back on this Saturday, 10am-noon, live on Camel City Radio! Today, October 3, marks the anniversary of the band’s recording session for Chronic Town at Mitch Easter’s Drive-In Studio in Winston-Salem, NC. Basic tracks recorded were “1,000,000,” “Ages Of You,” “Gardening At Night,” “Carnival Of Sorts (Box Cars),” “Stumble,” “Shaking Through,” “White Tornado,””9-9” (attempted but abandoned). According to our friends at The R.E.M. Timeline, there was another session on October 4 plus mixing sessions October 5-8.
