Okay, y'all.
I am part of the "Shoe Crew" for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Piedmont Triad "Wine Women and Shoes" event on May 9. I have pledged to raise $750 for this event. I know that times are tough but the families of the kids in the area hospitals have it rough, too. They need the Ronald McDonald House.

What is Wine Women and Shoes? Well, it's the biggest fundraiser for RMHCPT this year. It's a gala event that features designer pop-ups, a "best-in-shoe" contest, incredible auctions, a fashion show, wine tastings (of course), hors d'oeuvres, and a seated dinner. And it's hosted by Cameron Kent, so you know it's going to be good.

How can you help me raise the $750? Well, you can purchase a ticket to the event, but that's not the only way. Every little bit counts. $5-5000 and everywhere in between. It all helps. You can follow my fundraising link here: rmhcpt.ejoinme.org/Tim

It's the introductory podcast episode where Tim and Amy introduce themselves, who they are, how they met, and why they're doing this podcast.

Also, it answers the question... what in the heck is Pane e Pain? Is that like windows and hurt? NO! Bread! Bread! Bread! A lot of fun is coming for this podcast. Travel. Food. Imbibing. Wackiness (well, Tim's involved). Amy keeps him grounded, mostly.

Welcome to the new page for Pane e Pain! Tim and Amy are friends and like to talk about traveling, food, drinks, whatever. They thought you'd enjoy hearing about it and interacting with them about these things, too.
The new podcast will drop its inaugural episode on Monday, February 19, 2024! Look for it on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Amazon, Audible... everywhere you find podcasts! There will be videos for future episodes. The first one is just audio.

So, what is Pane e Pain? Well, Amy loves Italy, and Tim and his wife Stephanie are big Francophiles (they love France, especially Paris). Amy and Tim think of the podcast as breaking bread. Bread in Italian is Pane (pronounced pan-ay), and bread in French is Pain (pronounced pah(n)). It's not just Paris and Italy, though. It's all about all kinds of things traveling, food culture (including local), and imbibing good bevies.
