On Tuesday, April 22, WS/FCS Superintendent Tricia McManus announced her retirement. This decision comes soon after the sudden resignation of the district’s Chief Financial Officer and controversy surrounding a $13 million WS/FCS budget oversight. McManus stated that this and other recent incidents in the district did not factor into her decision, and she chose to leave her position to spend more time with family.
