Made for Movement 🌴
Some souls are born for adventure — mine just happens to crave open roads, salty air, and the kind of sun that warms you from the inside out. I was made for tropical skies, for wandering new places, and for living life a little untethered. When I’m still too long, my spirit aches for the hum of the highway and the promise of what’s beyond the next bend.

But love changes our direction sometimes. The pull of tiny hands and grandbaby giggles can outweigh even the call of the ocean. So we pause, plant roots for a season, and trade palm trees for playdates — knowing adventure will be waiting when the time is right. 🌺💭 I can't wait for more adventure, but a different kind of adventure has presented itself for the moment, so I'm embracing it with love, anticipation, and smiles. ❤️

This Life I’m Living

Hi, y’all! I’m Jen a 46-year old wife, mother of 7, grandmother of 4 and child of God. We live in South Central Florida and love the warm weather and the ocean! My husband is about to be ordained as a minister, but he’s also a nurse. My life hasn’t ever looked like anyone else’s and that’s okay! I’ve learned to embrace the fact that I color outside the lines, it’s what makes me, me!

I love the simple things in life, and after building a life that was too fast-paced, we decided to slow things down a bit. We have a mini urban farm going on in our backyard. I bake, cook, can, sew, craft, and love spending time with the Lord and my family. I’m a self-proclaimed prayer warrior, and spend a lot of time in prayer for our world, people I know and many I don’t.

That Farm Charm was birthed out of a desire to share all the things I do with others in a hope of being an inspiration to other people that they can and should do all the things they love, even if it’s not always the same as other people. I feel God inspired to write, He has given me the gift of the pen, and I had wasted it a good majority of my life until the last couple of years. I have begun to listen to Him more than ever, and to use this gift to inspire and touch people’s lives.

I hope you’ll come and sit awhile. Grab a cup of coffee (my fav!) and check out my blog, or whatever it is I’m making/doing today! There’s something for everyone, and I want to encourage you to just be you and enjoy the simple things in life.
