With over a decade of experience as a Film Editor, I have honed my craft behind the scenes, mastering the art of storytelling and visual language. Now, I step forward with my own voice as both the writer and director, embracing a new chapter in my career. Krystal was born profoundly deaf and supported by bilateral Cochlear Implants, I am passionate about defying expectations and pushing creative b

oundaries. I seek to challenge perspectives and inspire audiences by showcasing that resilience and vision can redefine what is possible in the realm of filmmaking. I am driven by the dream of becoming the first Australian Cochlear Implant Recipient & Deaf Filmmaker to win an Oscar.

Shot over the course of the last 4 years and in 3 different states, this has been one of the more challenging prospects we have ever undertaken, but with how the rough cuts are coming together, it'll all be worth it!

There has been amazing progress on Captain Jack's documentary. We decided to do 3 episodic series to showcase themes of his life. We felt like a feature film wasn't gonna do its justice to show how crazy and full his life was. It's been an emotional journey to capturing his stories together for the last 4 years.
