Tom Kane was the kind of guy whose voice you recognized before anything else .

Yoda. Professor Utonium.

Voice of God on productions most people never think twice about.

One of the all-time great voiceover artists.

John Wildman, editor in chief of FilmsGoneWild.com knew him personally. Tom was the best man at his wedding.

Life took them in different directions: PR, acting, a voiceover career that became legendary.

The last time they crossed paths was backstage at the AFI Life Achievement Awards. John had just finished running the red carpet. And then, from somewhere in the wings, he heard that voice.

He knew immediately.

Tom passed away May 18th at 64. Nine kids. Six adopted. An extraordinary man behind an extraordinary career.

Rest well, Tom. 🎙️
