Some cool shots of the drum kit from my sessions this past weekend with 5 Billion Dead this past weekend. I always get excited when drummers walk in with a gorgeous kit, and this one was definitely not an exception. I tried some different microphones for the toms and overheads this time around, as well as some new techniques for overhead and room mic placement. The shells gave me some sick tones to capture, and for that, I am grateful 🙏🏻
