The Divine Proportion by giGOis our album of the day!

giGo is a UK-based supergroup born during the pandemic, bringing together world-class musicians: Doug Scarratt (Saxon) on guitar, Anthony Duke (Flip) on vocals, Andy Kinch (Kracked Earth) on keyboards, Don Schiff on NS/Stick and strings (Unitopia), and Jamie-Ray Scarratt on drums and programming. Together they’ve crafted a debut album, The Divine Proportion (2024), that merges classic soft-rock warmth with a cinematic, modern polish.

Their music is rich in melody, layered instrumentation, and smooth yet powerful vocals, calling to mind the best of Mike & The Mechanics, Tears for Fears, Don Henley, Steely Dan, Phil Collins, ELO, and Hall & Oates.
